With no fewer than three golf courses to choose from at Wensum Valley Hotel, Golf & Country Club, there’s something for everyone, whatever your golfing ability. Our two 18-hole onsite courses, the championship Wensum course and slightly shorter Valley Course, are built on free draining soil and are therefore playable throughout the year.

The choice of courses available enables you to tailor your golf break, Society Day or round to suit the ability and requirements of the golfers. Whatever your level of golfing ability, you’ll find something to suit your needs and challenge your skills at Wensum Valley Hotel, Golf & Country Club.

With a 12-bay floodlit driving range and putting practice area also onsite, there’s plenty of opportunity to work on your game while you’re here. Our resident PGA Professional Thomas Maxwell is also on hand should you require some private or group tuition; to book, simply contact us today.

The Wensum Course is the championship course and the longer of the two 18-hole onsite courses. Host to the 2013 Motocaddy Masters season opener of the PGA EuroPro Tour, this Par 72 course measures 6,900 yards and requires both distance and accuracy for a successful round.

It features some excellent holes set amongst the beautiful lakes that sit alongside the meandering River Wensum. With an island green and other water hazards throughout, this course provides a testing round for even the most experienced golfer as well as a visual treat from start to finish.

Set on the gentle slopes of the magnificent Wensum Valley, the Valley Course features tree-lined fairways, well-placed bunkers and challenging greens. Slightly shorter than the Wensum Course.

This course demands accuracy off the tee and skill on the undulating greens but is guaranteed to provide an enjoyable round for every standard of golfer.
